EPT 2026, the four stops on the European Poker Tour this season
PokerStars confirmed four EPT stops for Season 24: Paris, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Prague. Every Main Event runs at a EUR 5,300 buy-in.
The 2026 European Poker Tour is a four-stop season, tighter than the six or seven stops the tour ran in its 2015 peak but with the same anchor venues that give the schedule its shape. Paris opened the year with a Main Event that drew 1,474 entries and paid Jorge Abreu EUR 1,354,545. Monte Carlo followed in early May, Barcelona is running now as the summer flagship, and Prague closes the year in mid-December.
The EUR 5,300 Main Event buy-in is unchanged across all four stops. That is deliberate. It keeps the EPT-branded events accessible to the pro grinders who chase points and the qualifiers who come through the PokerStars Path. What changes stop to stop is the surrounding schedule: Paris and Barcelona pack in the PokerStars Open and Cup satellites, Monte Carlo leans harder on the high roller festival, Prague is the traditional closer with the added leaderboard tension of the PokerStars Live League half-season mark.

What each stop is actually for
EPT Paris is the tour opener. Le Palais des Congres accommodates the biggest fields in continental Europe outside of Barcelona, and the Spin & Go Championship Live gets its second run there this year. Recreational players usually stack up here.
EPT Monte Carlo is the crown jewel by prestige. Fields are smaller than Paris or Barcelona but the ratio of high-rollers is higher, and the EUR 100,000 Super High Roller regularly pulls the entire top thirty of the Global Poker Index for a three-day event.
EPT Barcelona is the biggest stop of the year by entries. Casino Barcelona has hosted the tour since 2010. It sits in a 14-day window because it needs the time. The Main Event alone routinely runs six flights.
EPT Prague is the season finale, back after a one-year hiatus, moving from King's Casino to the Hilton Prague. If you have leaderboard points to convert into a ranking, this is where you defend them.
