PokerGods is operated by New World Gaming Limited, registered in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller under GDPR.

What we collect, on purpose

• Your email address, only if you give it to us through the daily puzzle signup form. We use it to send you one puzzle a day and the occasional weekly recap. That is it.
• Your Telegram chat ID and username, if you message our bot at @PokerGodsBot. Telegram delivers these to us automatically when you start the chat. We use them to send you puzzles inside Telegram.
• Your locale, taken from your browser language setting, so we know whether to send you the English or localised version of the daily mail.
• A hash of your IP address, stored as a one-way SHA-256 digest. We never store the raw IP. The hash exists only to stop someone abusing the signup form a thousand times.
• Your puzzle answers in Telegram, so we can show you your streak. Nothing more is logged.

What we do not collect

• No phone numbers (unless you message us on WhatsApp, which we do not currently support).
• No payment information. We never take money from players. Our revenue comes from poker rooms paying us a referral commission when you sign up to them.
• No tracking pixels in our emails. Open and click rates are not measured.
• No third-party ad networks. We do not sell, share, or rent your data.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are read and which calculators are used. GA4 is configured with IP-anonymisation enabled. You can block GA4 entirely with any standard ad blocker or with Firefox's tracking protection, and the site will continue to work normally.

Where the data lives

Cloudflare D1, a SQLite database hosted in Cloudflare's edge network. Data is replicated within Cloudflare's regions and never leaves the Cloudflare platform.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are subscribed. The moment you unsubscribe, the row is marked inactive and we stop emailing you. If you want the row fully deleted, mail [email protected] with the email address you signed up with and we will erase it within thirty days.

Your rights under GDPR

You can: access the data we hold on you, correct it, delete it, port it elsewhere, or object to processing. Every request goes to [email protected]. We reply within thirty days. No charge, no forms.

Unsubscribing

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. One click, done. For Telegram, send /stop to the bot. We will not contact you again until you opt back in.

Cookies

The site uses one essential cookie set by Cloudflare for security, and the cookies set by GA4 (if not blocked). Nothing else. Your daily-puzzle streak is stored in localStorage in your own browser, not on our server. Clearing your browser data resets the streak; we cannot recover it.

Changes to this page

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we will email every active subscriber before the change takes effect. The full change history of this page lives in our public git repository.
