Cash game rakeback league table, September 2026
Nine tracked rooms, one standard NL100 model, and the rates that actually reach your account. The headline percentage is often the least useful number on the page.
Rakeback marketing enjoys wearing a tuxedo. A room prints 50% in large type, hides the qualifying volume in smaller type, and hopes nobody asks whether the game is worth playing. Here is the September 2026 league table for the nine rooms we track, using a standard NL100 cash-game model at 100,000 hands per month.
The table uses a realistic working rate, not a professional's most flattering tier. Targeted offers are listed separately. Where a room does not publish a fixed percentage, we say so.
The September league table
- GGPoker, roughly 30% to 48% for a regular grinder. Ocean Rewards gives 100 Tide Points for every $1 in real-money poker rake. The official Ocean Rewards page publishes the Fish through Shark ladder, but it does not publish a fixed cash conversion for Tide Points or a fixed GEM value. That means the 80% Shark headline is not a normal cash-game expectation. Our working range is for a regular who lands in the middle tiers and tracks the actual cash received. The GGPoker review has the rake and traffic trade.
- Americas Cardroom, about 38% in the standard model. ACR awards 5.5 Rank Points for each $1 in rake or tournament fees, according to its Elite Benefits terms. Combat Point conversion improves at higher ranks, but the operator does not publish every cash conversion in the public page. The practical range is wide: the 5-Star General ceiling is much higher than the first useful tier, and it requires a serious annual volume target. This is good economics for a committed regular and a terrible reason to play more hands than your win rate can support. See the ACR review before treating the ladder as cash in the cashier.
- KKPoker, 30% on a fixed deal or 5% to 50% through Instant Rakeback. The room's official page says new players start at 5%, earn 10 EXP for every $1 in fees, and can reach 50%. Each level lasts 30 days. A fixed 30% club deal is the sensible middle number for a regular who has access to it. The top tier is earned by volume inside a reset clock. KKPoker wins the cleanest instant credit system in this group. It does not win the award for making the player pool look busy at every hour.
- BC Poker, about 21% for a typical active player, 10% to 50% on the ladder. The current September review describes an 18-tier VIP programme, with 10% at the bottom and 50% at Royal III. Most players sit closer to the 20% to 25% range. The useful detail is the cadence: payouts run four times a month, on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. The top tier is a volume destination, not a default setting. Our BC Poker review covers the thin-traffic problem that can erase a nice percentage on paper.
- CoinPoker, 15% daily base value, with variable extras. The CoinRewards page was updated September 6. It says the 3-Bet Club Base Reward returns 10% of eligible table fees each week, with Power Ups that multiply the base reward and an Action Multiplier that can reach 12.5% or 15% when weekly targets are met. CoinRaces carry a $5 million monthly prize pool, while Bankroll Boosts distribute $375,000 each week. Those extras can lift the result, but the operator does not publish one universal percentage. Treat 15% as a reasonable current working figure, not a guarantee.
- WPT Global, 10% ordinary model, 40% if you start the right game. WPT Global's ordinary public economics are less generous than its best banner. The current Table Starter terms pay 40% rakeback to the first player who starts eligible High tab NLHE or Short Deck action. PLO4, PLO5 and Flash are excluded. The offer is targeted at players who create high-stakes action, not every cash-game player. If that is already your game, it is the best single-session deal on this list. If not, model the room at its ordinary rate on the rake comparison page.
- PokerStars, about 6% in the standard model, higher for elite invitees. Stars Rewards has several chest levels, and recent third-party tracking puts the ordinary ladder above this conservative PokerGods model. The reason for the discount is simple: chest values vary, eligibility differs by market, and Select and Select+ are invitation tiers with much higher published returns. The room still wins on tournament depth and software. For a cash grinder, do not compare a theoretical Black chest with a guaranteed daily rate elsewhere. Compare what you actually received over a month.
- Stake Poker, 3.5% on poker rake. Stake's help page says poker rakeback is calculated at 3.5% of rake. VIP bonuses and site-wide activity can add value, but they are not the same as a poker-specific flat rate. The number is low and refreshingly legible. If you want a bigger return, you need to price the extra VIP activity, not assume it arrives because a badge moved.
- 888poker, no published standard percentage. The current 888poker Club page talks about Bonus Levels and prizes without publishing a stable cash percentage. Its latest BLAST campaign ran August 19 to 25, with 10%, 20% and 50% cashback bands and a $500 cap, as PokerNews reported. That offer is over. We score the standard case as unpriced rather than pretending a finished promotion is a September income stream.
What the table actually tells you
First, a percentage is not an hourly rate. A 40% return on a room with a 5% rake and a $3 cap can be worse than a 20% return on a lower-rake structure, especially at full-ring tables where capped pots arrive less often. Second, targeted promotions are not normal rewards. WPT Global's 40% Table Starter offer is excellent when you start an eligible table. It is irrelevant when you are sitting in PLO or joining an existing game.
Third, published ceilings are a motivational poster, not a budget. GGPoker's Ocean Rewards page publishes the points engine but not a fixed cash conversion. ACR publishes the points engine but not the whole cash menu. CoinPoker publishes the reward machinery and several large prize pools, but not a universal personal return. The responsible number is the one in your account after a real sample.
The sensible play this month
If you want volume and can tolerate a dense programme, start with GGPoker or ACR and track actual cash returned. If you want instant credit, KKPoker is easier to audit. If you want a softer crypto room and do not mind variable rewards, CoinPoker or BC Poker can make sense, but check traffic first. Use WPT Global's Table Starter only when the eligible game is already the game you wanted to play. PokerStars remains the tournament choice, not the automatic cash-game choice.
Put your own hands, rake per hand, and realized reward percentage into the rakeback ROI calculator. Then read the bankroll management guide before adding tables to chase a tier. The best rakeback deal is still the one that pays you for poker you were going to play anyway.
